La Cour d’appel de Sfax a condamn\u00e9 le journaliste et chroniqueur Haythem El Mekki \u00e0 une peine d’un an de prison dans une affaire li\u00e9e \u00e0 une publication qu’il avait diffus\u00e9e sur les r\u00e9seaux sociaux au sujet de la situation de l’h\u00f4pital universitaire Habib Bourguiba de Sfax.<\/p>\n
Le journaliste a annonc\u00e9 ce mercredi 15 juillet 2026, dans une publication sur sa page Facebook, que la d\u00e9cision avait \u00e9t\u00e9 rendue en appel. Il a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 que le tribunal de premi\u00e8re instance avait auparavant prononc\u00e9 un jugement de non-lieu dans cette m\u00eame affaire, avant que la Cour d’appel ne le condamne \u00e0 une peine d’un an d’emprisonnement.<\/p>\n
Haythem El Mekki a \u00e9galement indiqu\u00e9 que les poursuites avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 engag\u00e9es initialement sur la base du d\u00e9cret-loi n\u00b054, mais que la condamnation a finalement \u00e9t\u00e9 prononc\u00e9e en vertu de l’article 86 du Code des t\u00e9l\u00e9communications.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
